What Is the Endolift Vector Bum Lift?
The Endolift vector bum lift is a specialist adaptation of the Endolift fibreoptic laser procedure, designed specifically to lift and contour the buttocks. Endolift uses an ultra-fine laser fibre passed just beneath the surface of the skin to deliver energy directly into the subcutaneous plane, stimulating the body’s own collagen and elastin production.
For the vector bum lift, we use a rare 1mm fibre — one of the finest fibres available for this device, and one that NEU Clinic is among the only clinics in the UK to hold. This fibre allows us to deliver energy with exceptional precision along a bespoke pattern of treatment lines known as vectors. As the treated tissue contracts and remodels over the following weeks to months, the skin tightens along each vector, producing a natural, progressive lifting effect.
Unlike a surgical buttock lift or a Brazilian butt lift (BBL), there are no incisions, no implants, no fat transfer and no general anaesthetic. The result is a lift created entirely by your own tissue tightening in a carefully engineered pattern.

Video Transcript: Specialist Endolift Vector Bum Lift
So today we’re going to be doing a specialist Endolift vector bum lift for this patient. And the first stage, which is very important, is to draw out the vectors. So we’re going to start with just the left cheek here.
As you can see, we have marked out the vectors as to where we’re going to pass the fibre. We’re going to use a 1 millimetre fibre. This is quite a rare fibre to get your hands on — we’re one of the only clinics in the UK to get our hands on this type of fibre, and I think we’re the only clinic to offer this procedure.
If you have a look, you’ll see where we’ve drawn out these vectors is exactly where we’re going to pass the fibre. And we specifically used a black marker. The reason is because the wavelength of energy that comes from this device is attracted to the colour black. So by drawing out black lines — not blue, not red — it will allow a lot of the energy to come up towards the surface, towards the skin, which is where we want a lot of the energy to be placed.
By passing the energy down each one of these vectors using the fibre, it will cause a lot of collagen stimulation along each of these lines over the following weeks to months. And we’ve drawn these vectors in this very specific pattern so that when that happens, the bum should lift like this. Over the following weeks to months, the patient should just see all of these tissues contract in the lines of these vectors, causing a nice lifting effect.
Here we go. This is, as you can see, a 1mm fibre — a very special fibre which is used for very specific purposes. And we’re going to be using this today for the vector bum lift.
Normally, when we use Endolift, we use it in a pulsed setting. So if I step on the pedal here, you can see the laser is pulsing. Whereas for the specialist vector lift, we’re going to be using a unique setting called a continuous mode. So, as opposed to being pulsed, you can see the laser is just constantly on, which allows us to get that retraction that we want along those vectors in order to help lift the bum.
So, as you can see, we’ve drawn these vectors on top of the skin. What we’re going to do is pass this fibre along each of these vectors, and we’re going to use about 7 watt continuous energy and fire it back in this direction, up on each one of these individual vector lines.
And when we do that, the skin underneath each of these vectors is going to tighten and contract, and it will continue to do so over the following weeks to months. As it does that, with each one of these vectors tightening in this very specific pattern that we’ve made, it’s going to lift the bum up like this.
So, we’re going to do a first pass here — pass this fibre. You can see we’re going along this vector, just underneath the skin. How’s that feel? Okay, we’re going to do four passes. Here we go.
Advanced Vector Mapping Technique
Why Vector Mapping Matters
Every vector bum lift begins with careful planning and marking. Before any energy is delivered, our practitioner draws out a bespoke pattern of vectors across the treatment area. These lines map exactly where the fibre will pass beneath the skin — and, just as importantly, the direction in which we want the tissue to contract.
The vector pattern is not decorative. Each line is positioned so that, as the skin tightens along it, the combined effect of every vector pulls the tissue upwards. Think of it as designing the lift before performing it: the pattern we draw on the skin is the blueprint for how the buttock will lift over the months that follow.
We also deliberately mark these vectors in black. The wavelength of energy emitted by the Endolift device is attracted to the colour black, so marking in black — rather than blue or red — helps draw more of the energy up towards the surface of the skin, exactly where we want it for maximum skin tightening.
The Technology: A Rare 1mm Fibre and a Unique Laser Setting
Two technical details set the vector bum lift apart from a standard Endolift treatment.
The first is the fibre itself. The 1mm fibre used for this procedure is genuinely difficult to source, and we believe NEU Clinic is one of the only clinics in the UK with access to it. It is reserved for very specific, specialist applications — the vector bum lift being one of them.
The second is the laser setting. In a conventional Endolift treatment, the laser operates in a pulsed mode, delivering energy in short, repeated bursts. For the specialist vector lift, we switch the device to a unique continuous mode, with the laser constantly on at approximately 7 watts. This continuous delivery of energy is what gives us the sustained tissue retraction we need along each vector to create a genuine lifting effect, rather than tightening alone.
As with all our Endolift procedures, treatment is performed using the genuine Euphoton Endolift device — not a counterfeit or imitation system.
How the Procedure Is Performed
Once the vectors are mapped, the treatment itself follows a precise, methodical protocol:
The 1mm fibre is introduced just beneath the skin and passed along each marked vector in turn. Energy is fired in an upward direction along each individual vector line — the direction of the intended lift. Each vector typically receives four passes of the fibre to ensure sufficient energy is delivered along the full length of the line. Throughout the procedure, our practitioner checks in with the patient to ensure the treatment remains comfortable.
As the energy travels along each vector, it heats the tissue in the subcutaneous plane immediately beneath the skin. This triggers an immediate degree of contraction, followed by a sustained biological response: significant stimulation of new collagen and elastin along every treated line.
Results That Build Over Weeks and Months
One of the most appealing aspects of the vector bum lift is that the results are progressive and natural-looking. You are not relying on an implant or filler to create volume — you are harnessing your body’s own remodelling process.
In the weeks and months following treatment, collagen and elastin remodelling continues along each vector.
