The UK's Only Ultrasound‑Guided Endolift® with Double Chin Micro‑Liposuction

When Endolift® alone isn't enough, this is the next step. Precision micro‑liposuction physically removes the melted fat in the same session — for a sharper chin‑to‑neck profile and a more defined jawline, without surgery or general anaesthetic.

LASEmaR® 1500

the authentic Endolift® device by Eufoton

01 — Why we combine them

A more powerful result, in one appointment

Standard Endolift® uses a hair‑thin laser fibre to melt stubborn fat beneath the skin, then relies on the body's lymphatic system to clear that fat gradually over several weeks. For many patients this delivers excellent results — but for heavier deposits under the chin, natural clearance has its limits.

Once the laser has emulsified the fat, we use micro‑liposuction — through a tiny cannula — to gently remove it during the same procedure. You keep the full skin‑tightening and collagen‑stimulating benefits of Endolift®, plus a degree of fat reduction that laser alone cannot achieve.

① 300‑micron laser fibre — emulsifies the fat and heats the deeper dermis to trigger collagen remodelling.

② Micro‑cannula — aspirates the liquefied fat in the same session through an entry point under 2 mm; no stitches.

③ Live ultrasound — maps the fat layer, septae and platysma before and during treatment.

④ Platysma muscle — Endolift® works only in the tissue above it; anything deeper is surgical territory.

The laser fibre (1) liquefies fat in the subcutaneous layer; the micro‑cannula (2) removes it in the same session; live ultrasound (3) shows every structure; the platysma (4) marks the limit of non‑surgical treatment.

This combined procedure is most effective for the under‑chin and jawline. For concerns beyond this area, our standard Endolift® under ultrasound covers the full face, neck and body.

Before anything is introduced beneath the skin, we map the fat layer, the fibrous septal network and the platysma with live ultrasound — a step most clinics skip.

03 — How the procedure works

Five steps. One session. Local anaesthetic only.

01

Local anaesthetic

The treatment area is numbed so you remain comfortable and awake throughout. No sedation, no recovery from general anaesthetic.

02

Ultrasound mapping

Live imaging maps the fat layer, identifies key anatomical structures and plans the precise treatment zones — a critical safety and accuracy step.

03

Laser fat emulsification

A 300‑micron optical fibre is guided beneath the skin. The Endolift® laser melts the targeted fat while heating the deeper tissue to stimulate collagen remodelling.

04

Micro‑liposuction

With the fat now liquid, a fine cannula gently aspirates it. This immediate physical removal creates a sharper, more sculpted contour, visible as soon as treatment is complete.

05

Skin tightening continues

Collagen remodelling carries on for up to six months, progressively tightening the skin over the treated area for a refined, natural‑looking result that improves with time.

What we look at before we start: the three layers we treat — and the one we never cross.

04 — Ultrasound‑guided precision

We treat what we can see.

We are one of only a small number of UK clinics performing Endolift® under continuous real‑time ultrasound — and the only clinic combining it with micro‑liposuction for under‑chin contouring. Ultrasound guidance isn't an optional extra; it changes what's possible.

Safety

We see exactly where key structures lie beneath the skin, significantly reducing procedural risk.

Precision

Fat deposits are targeted accurately, avoiding over‑treatment or uneven removal.

Consistency

More predictable, reproducible results — smoother contours, less risk of irregularity.

Customisation

Depth, energy and removal volume are adjusted in real time to your unique anatomy.

Endolift + Double Chin Microliposuction

Profile of a jawline and neck in soft light against a cream backdrop

06 — Is it right for you?

Ideal if you…

  • Have a double chin or stubborn under‑chin fat that hasn't responded to diet or exercise
  • Want a sharper, more defined jawline without surgery or general anaesthetic
  • Have tried standard Endolift® — here or elsewhere — and want more significant fat reduction
  • Are looking for a non‑surgical alternative to liposuction or a neck lift
  • Want immediate, visible contouring rather than waiting months for fat to clear naturally
  • Have mild to moderate skin laxity alongside excess submental fat

A consultation with one of our doctors is required before any treatment, so we can assess your anatomy, fat distribution and skin quality — and tell you honestly if a surgical approach would serve you better.

What results can I expect?

  • A visibly sharper jawline and cleaner chin‑to‑neck profile immediately post‑treatment
  • Significant reduction in under‑chin fullness and heaviness
  • Progressive skin tightening as collagen remodels over three to six months
  • A refined, sculpted profile that looks entirely natural — never operated on
  • Long‑lasting results that typically hold for two to four years

09 — Your questions answered

Everything patients ask us before booking

If you can’t find the answer to your question, get in touch with the clinic and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Is this the same as traditional liposuction?

No. Micro-liposuction uses far smaller cannulas than conventional liposuction and removes a much more targeted, precise volume of fat. It is designed to complement the laser tightening effects of Endolift®, not to replace full-body liposuction. There are no large incisions, no general anaesthetic and no surgical theatre required.

How much fat is removed?

The volume removed is modest and targeted — the goal is sculpted definition, not volume reduction across a large area. This is precision contouring, not weight loss.

Is it painful?

The area is fully numbed with local anaesthetic before we begin. You may feel mild pressure or movement during the procedure but should not experience significant pain. Any post-procedure discomfort is typically manageable with over-the-counter pain relief.

What is the downtime?

Most patients experience some swelling, bruising and tenderness in the treated area for five to ten days. The majority of visible swelling resolves within two weeks, after which the results become increasingly apparent. Most patients return to desk-based work within a few days.

Why is a consultation required?

Every patient’s anatomy, fat distribution and skin quality is different. A consultation allows our doctors to assess whether this procedure is appropriate for you, discuss realistic outcomes, and create a fully tailored treatment plan. It also gives you the opportunity to ask questions and feel confident before committing to treatment.

How is this different from Aqualyx or other fat-dissolving injections?

Fat-dissolving injections such as Aqualyx work by chemically destroying fat cells, relying entirely on the body to clear the debris over several months. The process can cause significant swelling, is unpredictable in terms of the final contour, and typically requires multiple sessions.

Endolift® with micro-liposuction combines laser energy with physical fat removal in a single procedure — delivering more immediate, more precise and more controlled results, alongside the added benefit of skin tightening that injections cannot provide.

Will the fat come back?

Once fat cells are removed, they do not regenerate. However, remaining fat cells can still expand with significant weight gain. Maintaining a stable weight after treatment helps preserve your results long term. The skin-tightening component continues to improve for up to six months post-procedure as new collagen forms.

How soon can I see results?

You will notice an immediate change in the contour of your chin and jawline on the day of treatment, as the fat has been physically removed. Over the following weeks, as swelling settles, the result becomes progressively cleaner and more defined. Collagen remodelling then continues to refine the skin quality and tightness for up to six months.

Will I have visible scars or marks?

The entry points used for both the laser fibre and the micro-liposuction cannula are extremely small — typically less than 1–2 mm. These are not incisions requiring stitches and heal quickly, leaving no visible scarring in the vast majority of patients.

Am I awake during the procedure?

Yes. This is performed under local anaesthetic, meaning you are fully awake but the treatment area is completely numb. Many patients find this far preferable to general anaesthetic — there is no recovery from sedation, no need for someone to collect you, and you can leave the clinic independently shortly after the procedure.

How does Endolift® with micro-liposuction compare to a surgical neck lift or chin liposuction?

Surgical options such as a neck lift or traditional chin liposuction can deliver more dramatic results in patients with significant skin laxity or very large fat deposits. However, they carry the risks associated with general anaesthetic, require significantly longer downtime (often several weeks), leave visible scarring, and come at considerably higher cost.

For patients with mild to moderate concerns, Endolift® with micro-liposuction can deliver results that rival surgery — without the associated risks or recovery. Your doctor will be honest with you at consultation if they feel a surgical approach would serve you better.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare for treatment?

You will receive detailed pre-treatment guidance at consultation. General advice includes avoiding blood-thinning medications and supplements (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil and vitamin E) for at least one week prior to treatment, avoiding alcohol for 48 hours beforehand, and arriving with clean skin free from make-up or skincare products in the treatment area. Do inform us of any medications you are taking or medical conditions you have.

What aftercare is required?

You will be given a full aftercare protocol following your procedure. This typically includes wearing a supportive chin compression garment for several days to minimise swelling and support the new contour, avoiding strenuous exercise for one week, keeping the treatment area clean and dry, and attending a follow-up review with your doctor. Lymphatic drainage massage may also be recommended to support optimal healing and results.

Is this treatment suitable for men?

Absolutely. A well-defined jawline and elimination of submental fullness are among the most commonly requested concerns in male patients. Endolift® with micro-liposuction is equally effective in men and women, and results are tailored to suit masculine facial proportions where appropriate.

How many sessions are needed?

In most cases, a single session produces the desired result. Unlike fat-dissolving injections or surface-level skin treatments, the combination of physical fat removal and laser tightening addresses the concern comprehensively in one procedure. Occasionally a secondary touch-up session may be recommended if residual fullness remains, which your doctor will discuss at your follow-up appointment.

What if I’ve already had Endolift® elsewhere and wasn’t happy with the result?

We occasionally see patients who have had Endolift® at other clinics and feel they didn’t achieve adequate fat reduction. This is often because standard Endolift® relies on the body to clear melted fat, which is a slow and incomplete process, particularly in patients with heavier deposits. Our combined procedure with micro-liposuction may be suitable to address residual under-chin fat. We would assess your anatomy and previous treatment history during a consultation before making any recommendations.
