What Is Relfydess?
Relfydess (relabotulinumtoxinA) is a purified botulinum toxin type A injectable, licensed for the treatment of moderate to severe glabellar lines (the vertical lines between the eyebrows) and lateral canthal lines (crow’s feet) in adults under 65. Like other botulinum toxin treatments, it works by temporarily relaxing the small facial muscles responsible for these expression lines, smoothing the skin above them for a more refreshed, rested appearance.
What sets Relfydess apart is its next-generation formulation, engineered for a notably fast onset and long-lasting results — bringing together two qualities that have traditionally been a trade-off in anti-wrinkle treatments.

What to Expect: Your Treatment Journey
1. Consultation & Assessment We start with a thorough consultation to understand your concerns, assess your facial muscle movement, and confirm that Relfydess is a suitable and safe option for you. We’ll talk openly about what results you can expect and answer any questions before you decide to proceed.
2. The Treatment Using a fine needle, a precisely calculated dose is injected into the targeted facial muscles — typically five injection points for glabellar lines, six for crow’s feet, or a combination of both. The treatment itself usually takes no more than 10–15 minutes, with no need for anaesthetic, though numbing cream can be applied first if you’d prefer.
3. Aftercare You can return to most normal activities straight away. We’ll give you simple aftercare guidance — including avoiding strenuous exercise, lying flat, or touching the treated area for a few hours — to help your results settle as intended.
4. Follow-Up We’ll check in with you around two weeks after treatment to assess your results and, if needed, make any small refinements.
Results & Longevity
Many patients begin to notice initial changes within the first few days, with full results developing over the following one to two weeks as the treatment takes full effect. Clinical data supports results lasting up to around six months for many patients, though this varies by individual, treatment area and muscle strength. We recommend a minimum interval of 12 weeks between treatments, and we’ll help you plan a maintenance schedule that keeps your results looking consistently natural.
Is Relfydess Right for You?
Relfydess may be a good option if:

It isn’t suitable for everyone. Relfydess should not be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a known neuromuscular disorder (such as myasthenia gravis), or have an infection at the proposed injection site. We’ll review your full medical history at consultation to confirm suitability.
As with all botulinum toxin treatments, side effects can include injection site reactions, headache, and temporary bruising or swelling; rarely, effects of the toxin can spread beyond the treatment area, causing symptoms such as drooping eyelids or visual disturbance.
